My week

This week, I joined a meditation group. I have always wanted to. So, I did! It is great to meet new people.

Meet Rosie

My five hens

Earlier this week, Rosie was broody. She wanted chicks, so she was spending time in the nesting box, keeping the eggs warm, trying to hatch them. Over the last few days, she seems to have broken her broodiness, which means she no longer wants chicks. The other hens are all doing well. All the hens have been through a heavy moult, so now they are busy growing their new feathers.

Allotment update

I have finally planted approx—180 Beetroot seeds in seed trays. The seeds cost me £1.60, so I hope they all grow. I will keep you updated.

As you know, I am not a professional gardener. But I am just hoping that my updates will inspire you to grow your food and help save the planet. If you need professional gardening advice, try finding a local gardening expert and see if they can help you.
